This generally isn't a problem as you can still order the shoes and have them shipped to you, but you will need to know if they will fit you properly. Just as is the case with clothing, when it comes to shoe sizes, different countries use different sizes. So, you may know that you wear men's Nike shoes in a size nine in the US, but you won't know what you wear if you bought them in the UK, for instance, unless you use a chart.

Find Your Real Shoe Size
Before you go about converting your US men's or women's shoe size to an international size, you will want to make sure that you know your correct shoe size. In order to do this, you should either have your foot professionally sized or you should measure your foot on your own. You can easily do this at home for yourself, or if you are buying Nike shoes for a child, you can measure their feet for them.

In order to find your shoe size, you will need to measure the length of your foot from your longest toe to your heel. This is easy to do and you only need a few supplies like paper, a pen or pencil, and a ruler. You will also need to find a hard floor. Place the paper on the hard floor and stand in your socks on the paper. At this point you can either trace your foot, which is recommended, or you can mark lines where your toes and heel hit the paper. This can be a lot easier if you have help from a friend or family member, but you can easily do it on your own also. Measure from the heel to the toe in inches or centimeters and make a note of that number. You will need to insert it into a chart to find your size.
